Silk matte glass Optiwhite Fuzzy
Ordinary glass naturally has a slightly greenish or bluish tint, which in the case of optiwhite glass has been reduced to a minimum. Therefore, optiwhite glass is primarily used in places where special transparency is desired or when there is a wish to paint the glass.
Silk matte glass is used when the goal is to allow light through, while at the same time preventing transparency. Frosted glass diffuses light and, depending on the processing method, is either partially or completely opaque. Therefore, matte glass is mainly used to ensure privacy.
Its fields of application are broad, making it suitable for almost anywhere. The use of frosted glass is especially popular in partitions and shower enclosures. Silk frosted glass is particularly suitable for windows and doors. Glass with a thickness of at least 8 mm and that has been tempered is suitable for shelves, tabletops, partitions and doors.
Frosted glass is workable like ordinary glass: it can be cut, ground, drilled, tempered, laminated, etc.
