Frosted glass
Frosted glass is a unique product that allows light to pass through while preventing transparency at the same time. It is mainly used to ensure privacy while providing an elegant appearance.
Where to use frosted glass?
The areas of use are wide, especially popular in partitions and shower enclosures, but also as table glass, in furniture as doors and shelves.
Types of frosting
Acid-etched glass – this glass is frosted at the factory and below you can explore its different shades and patterns. Acid-etched glass can be processed and cut, offering a fine and even finish. It is recommended to order Enduroshield nano protection for acid-etched glass to make cleaning easier.
Sandblasted frosting – ordinary (but also colored) glass can also be frosted with sandblasting. This gives a “grainier” appearance than acid-etched glass and this technique is suitable when you want to apply your own design or pattern onto the glass. For sandblasted frosted glass we especially recommend adding nano protection to avoid cleaning difficulties.
Processing frosted glass
Acid-etched glass can be processed in the same way as ordinary glass: it can be cut, ground, drilled, tempered, laminated, etc. This means it can be adapted according to your specific needs and preferences.
