Glass and mirror grinding

Grinding the edges of glass and mirrors allows different final results, and the edges do not have to be straight but can also be special-shaped, meaning curved.

We offer the following grinding options:

  • Technical grinding – Only the sharp cut edges of the glass are dulled. Technical grinding is definitely necessary when tempering glass.
  • Machine grinding/polished grinding – Straight edges of glass and mirrors are polished. A matte grind can also be done (recommended for example for glass with LED lighting).
  • Bevel grinding – Straight edges of the glass are ground at an angle up to 60 degrees. Recommended for example for glass placed on the floor.
  • Facet grinding – Grinding the glass surface at an angle on the edge of the glass. It is possible to grind a facet up to 50mm wide; both clear and matte; also on curved glass.
  • Curved grinding – Polished grinding of the glass edge in a radius on glass and mirrors and also on round glass.

We offer grinding services for both glass purchased from us and glass and mirrors brought by the customer. We pay attention to the fact that glass may contain microcracks or stresses that are not visible to the eye, which may cause it to break during processing or lead to other defects. Therefore Klaasissepa OÜ does not take responsibility for defects or glass breakage that occur during the processing of customer material.
