Wired glass polished
Polished wired glass is more durable and safer than ordinary untreated glass, because it is reinforced with wire mesh (wires located inside the glass).
Where to use polished wired glass?
This glass can be used in various applications, from manufacturing doors and windows with security requirements to furniture elements and interior design solutions. However, it should be taken into account that the thickness of polished wired glass is generally 6 mm and it cannot be tempered. It is also widely used in the doors of smaller utility cupboards in stairwells.
Fire resistance
In addition to breakage resistance, the glass has also been assigned E30 fire resistance, which means that in the event of a fire, wired glass can withstand 30 minutes before it breaks. Therefore, wired glass is used, for example, in the manufacture of fire-resistant doors.
