Insulated glass units

Insulated glass units are a combination of two or three glass layers that are widely used in windows, doors and also in façade construction. They provide excellent thermal and sound insulation, making your home more energy efficient, safer and quieter. Each glass layer is hermetically connected with a spacer bar, and the space between the glass panes, the chamber, contains argon gas that helps ensure their insulation properties. The type of insulated glass unit may vary depending on the place of use and preferences – clear, tempered or patterned and tinted glass. The thickness of the insulated glass unit varies depending on the need; for saunas it is definitely recommended to choose units with tempered glass.
